Consumers will receive a $500.00 rebate when they replace inefficient central air conditioners.
Government of Ontario
Air Conditioner Rebate Program, starting April 2006, consumers will receive a $500.00 rebate when they replace an inefficient central air conditioner with a new ENERGYSTAR qualified system.
$50.00 Rebate on Air Conditioning Tune Ups:
There is a $50.00 rebate for those who have their central air conditioner tuned up by a registered participating contractor, and a $75.00 rebate on the supply and installation of a programmable thermostat.
To undertake the Cool Savings program, the Conservation Bureau has partnered with the Heating, Refrigeration, and Air Conditioning Institution and has designed a program that will help reduce peak demand for electricity this summer.

Residential Toilet Replacement Program

Region of Peel staff offers a program of $60.00 to $100 rebates to residents or property owners who replace inefficient toilets of 13L or more with new Peel-Approved water efficient toilets (per toilet)
